Charles & Ron Pre Fall 15

Yesterday Charles & Ron launched their new collection at Moda Malta - a great show - fast-paced, energetic music, good modelling and of course great fashion. The clothes are interesting and have a catchy vibe, there are some lovely dresses, elaborate jackets and some pretty logo sweaters that make you forget it's a logo that's emblazoned on the sweater. The collection is a good mix of wearable items and some more high fashion pieces including the finale - a velvet ball gown with ganutell detailing.

For me, the standout items however, are the accessories, in particular a pink backpack - it's pink, its shiny and its a backpack, honestly what more would a girl want ? Sadly enough, I didn't snap a photo of it, I was too busy admiring it, the same goes for a shiny green bucket bag, something tells me we'll be seeing a lot of these bags around Malta this Winter. Also loved loved loved the wig styling by Alexander.

Outfit Post : Mercedez-Benz Fashion Week Malta - Day 2 - Chic Metallic and Tie Dye Ragged

Yesterday's event was special - I didn't work backstage which meant I could wear high heels, sit in the audience and enjoy the spectacular show- wohooo. However this year, the combination of facts that I'm always cold and the shows are outdoor are making outfit selections a little bit harder as generally, if possible I do enjoy not shivering uncontrollably.

Soooo - what did I wear - I worn a very exciting torn, tie-dyed, cropped sweater that I had found at the Clothes Show Live last December from The Ragged Priest - an awesomely cool brand, a high waisted, metallic leather-effect scuba skirt that's so in trend right now, a Coccinelle bucket bag..love this bag shape so much - roomy but still cool and small, and a-just-purchased-the-previous-day, metallic silver shoes.

I was undecided about whether to pair the skirt with these elegant shoes or instead wear a pair of thick ankle boots..in the end I went for this look as I thought the shoes contrasted really well with the ragged top.
