Yep it's another Shopping Post - but hey it's XMAS time ....'tis the season to be merry...and spend too much money. Today's Shopping Post focuses on shoes, in particular those found at Stivaletti. One of my favourite shoe brands is stocked at Stivaletti - Nero Giardini. I own three pairs of boots from this brand and all three are insanely comfortable and made of really high quality leather. Besides Nero Giardini, there are lots of other brands stocked in the various stores around Malta. To name a few of the brands there's  also the stunning Tosca Blu range, the Laura Biagiotti brand, Panama Jack, Dockers and interestingly enough Paris Hilton.

Competition : A little slice of Relaxing Heaven

Clare Agius whose name should be familiar with most Maltese people, has recently opened up a lovely beauty Salon - Healing - right in the middle of Sliema, at Park Hotel (round the corner from Cardini Restaurant). Lovely salon and the best part - it's open on Sundays. Last week she invited me over to experience a heavenly luxury facial.

We're all so busy all the time, sometimes we end up neglecting the things we should be taking care of most, my skin often ends up being a casualty of my lifestyle and my face really needed this treatment.

Suzanne, the therapist works relaxing magic with her amazing hands - she used exclusively Babor cosmetic products which are great - and started out with a good cleansing including using a steam machine, this was followed by a mild peeling treatment, extraction and then a 35 minute massage using vitamin e, at which point she also applied paraffin treatment to my hands. I then had a calming mask applied to my face and last an algae active fluid called ampul. I left there calm and relaxed and my skin looked amazing the next day.

Shopping Post : Let's Look Inside MAX&Co

A few weeks ago, I released the super-exciting-lets-dance-a-jig news that come next September I will be a brand ambassador for Max&Co Malta which means lots of lovely outfits and some other Max&Co-related posts. 

From feedback I received, it seems there are still some of you out there who aren't that familiar with the brand. For starters just a little bit of info re the brand -  Max&Co is an Italian fashion brand and a member company of the Max Mara Fashion Group and of course there are stores across Europe. What I really love about the clothes is that they are a fusion of contemporary designs (some of them could even be called eclectic) and Italian quality and tailoring, in other words they are right up my alley. 

I visited the shop last week for this week's edition of Caroline hits a shop and shows you what's in stock and snapped a few pics of my favourite items, I'm particularly in love with the yellow section...yellow remains one of my favourite colours for summer...and this season it seems like it's even more fashionable than the previous years.

Shopping Post : Dots, Denim and Wolves - A POINT at Hilfiger

In the latest instalment of 'Caroline hits a store and shows you their new stock'  we take a very pointed look at Hilfiger Denim at the Point. I haven't made up my mind as to whether I prefer the main line brand Tommy Hilfiger or the sub (trendier, more casual) division Hilfiger Denim...I love the Spring Collection of the main line (more on that to come) but whenever I enter Hilfiger Denim I'm really drawn to the 'cool vibe factor' the clothes and stores give off.

The store at The Point is no exception, fun decor, sultry lighting...it's the kind of store that invites you in.

The new season collection for woman has quite an exciting mix of different stuff - patterned t-shirts, graphic t-shirts , v cool denim options, polka dots (heart takes a little leap) and some lovely light knitwear with nice bright colours.

The new male collection (men actually get a larger section of the shop....hmmm some complaining here) is also very stylish, some brilliant printed t-shirts, amazing denim jackets (give me a guy in a denim jacket any day of the week) and interestingly enough - some really lovely watches (these were actually spotted by the hubby and he was right, they are really really nice).

I'm a woman and this is my blog soooo I am starting with the female....

These shorts are perfectly cute and lovely...please buy them for me someone...

Honestly can't remember if these are male or female but the cool turn up caught my eye !

A man can never have too many polo shirts and remember..however good the quality they DON'T  last an eternity so do replace every so often....

I'm addicted to denim.....*sigh*

Shopping Post : A Look at Boux Avenue

As promised, I'm sticking to my new year's resolution to hit one shop a week with my camera and show you the new stock trickling in for Spring/Summer. This week's edition is Boux Avenue....I hate saying this but for those people still in the dark about Boux Avenue, it replaced La Senza at the Plaza...yes that is NOT La Senza..it is Boux Avenue, a more upmarket, more luxurious lingerie store.

The new collection is lovely....there are many different ranges...some pieces are totally seductive and very sexy (might be a good valentine gift idea to buy our men ..right? :P I think it is totally justified.....), others are cute as pie...and for all the soon-to-be brides out there, there are also some lovely and original bridal-related pieces and as always the cutest, loveliest accessories.

My Styling Work : Christmas Time at Coccinelle

As you might recall I am currently the Brand Ambassador for Coccinelle. Last Saturday, 21st December, I spent the morning in the Coccinelle store helping Eva and Lorna (the wonderful sales staff) guide customers on which bag best meets their needs. Since this was the last Saturday before Christmas, you can just imagine how busy the shop was. 

The hubby Kurt Paris popped by to take some pics of the goings on as well as of the soft, beautiful leather bags.
