Outfit Post : 70's Vibe - LFW Day 1

This is my second time at London Fashion Week and it's a whole lot colder - freezing well and truly. This makes choosing what to wear, especially with limited luggage allowance much harder but well - what a girl gotta do, a girl gotta to do. I decided to give a nod to the '70s vibe that's really trending for Spring with my first outfit. I wore a head band and an actual vintage '70s frock coat (the blue one).

I was reasonably warm until the evening and then - I literally froze - today I must have more reinforcement.
Waiting to be let in for the first show of the day

Family Corner : Little Girls Need Jackets

And just like that, it's suddenly cold in Malta (we'll see how long it lasts), it's time to start pulling out the jackets, especially for the little ones.

As promised, there are going to be more family related posts on my blog and I've titled the category 'Family Corner' - Like it?

Kiabi are my main partner for this project - they've got such a huge selection of kids clothes / maternity / baby cute-as-hell pieces - the shop gives me lots of little avenues and sidewalks to explore and walk into.

Soooo little girls need their jackets and most little girls I know want cute ones, not necessarily pink, I get that not every girl cries for 30 minutes at a birthday party because she wasn't given a pink balloon (I actually remember this) but I think they still need to be pretty and these ones are all just 'dahling'.

The top most minnie-mouse-silver-jacket is more of a raincoat than a jacket - it's also my favourite, partly because I love minnie but also because I love the fabric, it's also the most expensive at 27.99 euros. These next two pics show warmer anorak-style jackets and are quite a bit cheaper, still super cute, loving the floral one.

Both 14.99 EUROS

Below, the top  jacket is another raincoat-style piece priced at 14.99 euros, the one below it is available in larger sizes for more grown-up girls but I'm not sure of the price.

Jackets can't be worn alone and I love kids in jeans especially patterned / coloured ones. Having more than one jeans option in your child's wardrobe can be such a time-saver..so many different outfits can be created by simply switching from plain jeans to patterned.

Would love love love to hear what you think of this 'Family Corner' project - Leave a comment Pretty Please - good or bad :)

Outfit Post : Playing in the Waves in Riccione

caroline paris stylist

With all the London Fashion Week related posts Riccione seems like a million years away but right before going off to London I travelled to Riccione with Ferragiu to work backstage at the New Model Today competition, you can read more about that here. The morning of the event, the hubby and I decided to go for a walk on the beach, the weather was warm but a little breezy at certain times of day so I carried around a big scarf for when I felt chilly. I got tempted to dip my feet in the seas but ran away at the impending heart attack - cooooold.

Outfit Post : An Opulent Vienna AND Shades of Blue

I kicked off 2014 in Vienna, a wonderful city with so much to offer visitors. There's such a great mix of art and culture, fashion, fun, beauty, splendour...and the list goes on..I had a great time.

Ofc having the hubby and his camera in tow proved useful at recording my different outfits and here is one of my fave outfits that I wore on New Year's Day when we visited the grand opulent Shonbrunn Palace and the lovely Spanish Riding School and their beautiful horses.

I'm calling it shades of blue since there about 4 or 5 different blues in it and white and grey thrown in for good measure...I was all for having some crazy fashion fun and general fun on the first day of 2014!

Off to catch a train...

Although the sun was shining that day, it was rather cold as is somewhat evident by my many, many layers...there's a coat, shirt, sweater, thermal tights and patterned leggings worn over, beanie....

Let's play in the gardens...

Coat, Shirt : H&M / Sweater : Vintage Ralph Lauren / Skirt : Vintage / Beanie : Coccinelle / Scarf : Promod / Leggings : Ebay
