Outfit Post : Milan Fashion Week Day 4

4th Day in Milan, 9th Day of Fashion Weeks = very, very tired feet. It was time to bring out the trainers again. This day involved many, many presentations and quite a few shows too so I wanted a rather comfortable outfit. I also planned on changing into something a bit more glamorous for the evening since it was a Saturday and it had dawned on me that people here tended to get changed for the night shows - not something done in London - so this was actually outfit 4.5. The photo above and below are right after Ermanno Scervino and with an Italian blogger I made friends with, Ornelia that runs The Fashion Dance.

Trends Post : How to Wear a Long Leather Jacket

By now most people who pay at least a little bit of attention to fashion trends should know that leather is HOTT hot, both real and faux or vegan leather as it is sometimes called.

One of the hottest leather items I've seen of late around our local shops, is this long leather jacket from Jane Norman.

It's really awesome, I love the zip details, the way it curves in at the waist giving a very feminine shape, the gap positioning a the collar...everything just screams edgy. 

I've styled a look around this jacket - combining it with a printed tee and electric blue sequin mini skirt also from Jane Norman. With this outfit I'd got for flat/chunky heeled ankle boots so as to avoid looking overly sexy, if the mini is too much, swapping it for a pair of skinny jeans will also work quite nicely.
