Brand Spotlight : Paula Cademartori at Milan Fashion Week

In Milan I saw too many beautiful things and as a result got too many cravings (of both the food and fashion variety). One of my favourite things on Day 3 was the Paula Cademartori bag & shoes preview. besides their ultra original, quirky designs, the quality of the product supersedes most other bags I've seen, and I've seen A LOT of expensive bags.

These bags are Made in Italy and exquisitely made from start to finish, with every single detail having been taken care of. When I say detail I mean detail - it's impressive to witness when looking at these bags up close.

"The precious seal of each model is a metal buckle, personally designed by Paula supported by her background in jewellery and industrial design."

And check out Beyonce below !!!

For the first time this coming Winter Paola will be launching a footwear line - it features the same exciting designs, and same attention to detail as her bags do.

Check out that sexy back

And look who dropped by to meet the designer - it's BryanBoy

Milan Fashion Week : Ermanno Scervino A/W 15/16

Attending the Ermanno Scervino A/W 15/16 fashion show in Milan was a definite highlight of my trip. This made in Italy brand is actually one of my favourites - as the designer himself says - his clothes are always feminine and well tailored, representing quality and elegance.
' I love playing with the identity of gender, never calling it into question. My woman is always feminine even when she is wearing a masculine overcoat. It can be perfect to enhance her seductiveness.'

The collection was made up of different mini sections flowing from one onto the other. It started with a few pieces representing quilting material with voluminous skirts and fitted jackets.

I was rather pleased to see the houndstooth tweed pattern make an appearance, this is a pattern that's classical but statement-making at the same time. In this collection it  was used on tailored pieces sparking with embellishments and bold red accents.

There were also military inspired pieces, again embellished with rich accents such as crystals and fur

But the definite star of the show was the beautiful royal blue pieces, this dress in particular is absolutely gorgeous.

And to end the show - luxurious gowns in organza that make you think of fairies
